She does a great job digging into both the details and long arcs of how America has always been stratified and how that reflects on the folks in each stratum.  It&#8217;s interesting and important to understand, but I didn&#8217;t come away surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s well written and well documented.
