I learned a lot about Mexico&#8217;s transformation into a state under siege from drug traffickers.\u00a0 I learned more about the hearts of people who have to live in that transformed world.<\/p>\n<p>Corchado&#8217;s research and journalism is compelling stuff.\u00a0 You don&#8217;t get many death threats for erroneous stories, though, of course, I can&#8217;t check it.
