A Trip to Buttonwillow

buttonwillow airport Buttonwillow is a small, unattended field in the central valley. There's really nothing there but a 3260 ft. runway. I went out to do some pattern work and engine out landings and picked it because I wouldn't disturb anyone and no one would disturb me. I had the new digital camera that Brenda got me, so I did take a few pictures mainly to show how isolated the place is. I also saw a dust devil, which I really didn't get a good picture of. I came back up the Malibu coast and did get a nice shot of the old Getty Museum.

Enjoy the pictures.
