I mean, damn. Why don't they put murderers they let out of jail on a can't-touch-guns probation? Why don't they put sex offenders on a can't-touch-people probation? Why am I up talking to you when I could be in bed? No, I couldn't be in bed. Because I'm HYPER, I'm PREOCCUPIED, I'm WORRIED ABOUT STUFF I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER, and I have a 7:00 lab tomorrow morning. and no matter how much I try to think relaxing thoughts about how I'll find a cute redhead to go down on in Seattle, I keep coming back to stupid stuff, like how I wish the Kids in the Hall would make another movie. Or about how going down on a cute redhead might be construed as wrong by some deities, and somehow it would warrant eternal torment. I don't really see the connection. Or about how eating pork could cause the same thing if the Jews are right. Or about how drawing a stick figure could cause the same thing if the Muslims are right. Or about how not being in a cult could cause the same thing if some cult leader is right. Or, about the possibility that the cute redhead will steal all my stuff from the hotel room.
